Learning Grasshopper

You learn Grasshopper by using it to express your ideas.

At first you will need to follow established examples.

Follow the scripts from left to right and aim to understand the function of every component.

Here are some of the resources that I used to learn:

● Parametric House; Their Paracourse is a great way to start. Its very clear examples demonstrate the proper use of Grasshopper.

● Gediminas Kirdeikis; An extremely talented designer and teacher. By following his grasshopper tutorials you will learn a great deal.

● PJ Chen Jewelry CAD Design; Use this to improve your Rhino skills which are the foundation of Grasshopper. There is no better resource.

● David Rutten: David created Grasshopper and his Getting Started video series is a must-see.

● McNeel's Grasshopper Docs: The "dictionary" for every component. It is the best place to go when you need to understand the technical math behind a specific node.

‍ ‍● Official Grasshopper Forum The primary hub for the Grasshopper community. This is the place to ask questions, share your work, and get help directly from the developers and expert users.
