Using fine voxels create Dendro Mesh subtract cutters
Smooth geometry with quad remesh
Comparison of Rhino Solid Difference (incredibly sharp but CPU intensive) to Dendro Volume Difference. Rhino 8 drastically improved solid difference to converge with many cutters.
On a planar cut, comparison of Dendro mesh construction to SubD texture. With Rhino 8 one can convert Quad or Tri re-meshes to SubD surfaces. SubD surfaces are quite smooth and organic, not planar mesh faces.
A voxel is a 3 dimensional pixel.
Using the Dendro plug-in one may convert Rhino meshes to Dendro meshes then quickly perform Boolean operations on solid objects.
By using a fine voxel one may obtain quite good texture resolution.
To smooth out the transformed Dendro mesh, perform a Quad- remesh.
